Nandana Sen aka Nandana Dev Sen, a New York-based writer and an aspiring filmmaker cum actor, was noticed after her performance in Gautam Ghosh’s ‘Gudiya'(1997). Being the daughter of Bengali writer Nabanita Dev Sen and Nobel Laureate Amartya Sen, Nandana was always fascinated by cinema. She grew up in India, Britain and US, and has worked in films from all the three continents. Tabassum Fatima Hashmi aka Tabbu, one of the versatile actress in the Indian Film Industry, is the sister of yesteryear actress Farha. Tabu’s debut as a lead actress was supposed to be’ Prem’, but it was ‘Pehla Pehla Pyar’ (1994) that released first.
