Bugatti Galibier confirmed for production

In a recent interview with Auto Motor und Sport, Bugatti President Wolfgang Dürheimer revealed some interesting new details about the 2013 Galibier.

Crafted to become the “undisputed” leader in the luxury segment, the Galibier will be launched in late 2012 and feature a sixteen-cylinder engine which is rumored to produce 800 PS (588 kW / 789 hp) to 1,000 PS (735 kW / 986 hp). Furthermore, since the vehicle is more practical than the Veyron, Dürheimer estimates the company will be able to sell 1,000 to 1,500 units.
